Pia Linz

A postcard from PIA LINZ, sent from Berlin, Germany.  Pia was born in Kronberg (Taunus), the same small town I grew up. She lives and works in Berlin now. We never met in Kronberg, but later on in Berlin. She is a admirable artist, a lovely person with a good sense of humor and a love for drawings.

Pia mainly works in the media of drawing: Her pencil drawings are often large-sized, very fragile and detailed. There are streets, cityscapes, parks, interiors - always drawn in her very own, surprising perspective. Pia conducted several site-specific drawing projects in various places around Germany, as well as in New York, USA where she worked and lived for one year. http://pia-linz.de/
